Potential degradation is caused by the hydrogen peroxide produced by the oxidation of the plasticizer. It is colorless, tasteless, and not directly reflected. The hydrogen peroxide will crack and the resulting low molecular weight material will escape, making the "volatility" higher than expected. At the same time, some lysates will cause PVC degradation. The low-molecular-weight substances that are incompatible with the PVC system also migrate and even volatilize, spreading the degradation to the same, but non-oxidized PVC products in the same package, so that they begin to degrade.

This damage is already potential during processing, but it often does not occur during or immediately after processing, but after being placed, especially after being stored in a hot warehouse for a period of time, giving a damp Illusion.

For the potential degradation of the slingshot thread, adjust the amount of stabilizer and lubricant added, and add a certain amount of antioxidants such as bisphenol A, the amount is generally 0.3 ~ 0.5PHR. Most can be solved very well. However, it should also be noted that with certain pigments and stabilizers, this oxidation phenomenon will be further exacerbated, because a resin stabilizer, at the same time may be a plasticizer oxidation accelerator.

Surface layer

The surface attachment layer of the slingshot wire is a sticky deposit deposited on the metal surface of the processing equipment from the PVC system being processed. During the extrusion process, the surface coating usually appears on the screw, barrel wall, die inner wall and other places. The surface coating directly affects the surface quality of the product, making the surface rough and tarnished.
